Welcome back to PZTL,

Today our main update is that we're publishing the Introduction to the Minimal Note-Taking book. At the time of writing I'm on the back of a FlixBus back to Bristol from London, having spent the weekend shooting photos for an event.

This weekend was supposed to be the publish date of the entire book, but I need a couple more weeks to get everything together, so we're now publishing on the weekend closest to the 3rd anniversary of the flagship PARAZETTEL for Obsidian template, the 18-20th September.

I didn't want to leave you with nothing for this weekend though, so over the weekend I finalised the first chapter of the book, the Introduction.

Record Month on Medium

I've been writing on Medium for over 3.5 years now, and the August we've just finished is our most fruitful month to date (since January 2023, 44 months!)...

No matter how long you've been reading - whether this is your first month aware of what I teach, or your 30th or more, I appreciate you for paying attention and making this teaching possible. I hope that whatever you've read has taught you something new that's had a positive effect on your life.

I have no plans to slow down, and now that I'm not letting myself loose on Southeast Asia for the winter, I've got a real opportunity to knuckle down and improve the articles, videos and other resources that I share. I wrote about this more in my personal publication...

Personal Writing + New Portfolio

There's no new PARAZETTEL content to share this week, but I did write a personal piece over on my website...

It's all about how the last three years of running an education brand and online business have panned out, and what I'm planning for the future now that I'm out of university myself and on my own.

We not only touch on PARAZETTEL, but what I plan for photographing freelance (it's what I've been doing all weekend after all), as well as a new PKM angle in Obssistant, now that AI agents are such a force for productivity, and ProseLab, my other side project functioning almost as a proof of concept for Obssistant right now (more soon!).
