Welcome back, This week I’ve got one major announcement and a little update on a personal front, about the week that I've just finished in northern Italy. Let’s start with the biggie… Introducing PARAZETTEL Foundations
For a long time, the Intro Course for the Community and its members was sparse and uninformed to say the least. I recorded it out in Vietnam, sleep-deprived and a little disoriented, and it served as my main introductory route into the private ecosystem (i.e. the email list and the Community) — a route that needs perhaps even more attention than anything else. Either way, that all changes from this Friday, with the introduction of the new intro course, PARAZETTEL Foundations. This is going to be delivered over several days, the same way the previous course was, but it’s going to be in more detail, with more variation in resources and more interaction, meaning you’re going to get a lot out of it even if you’ve been in the community for a long time.
Right now, you can pro-actively access all the PARAZETTEL courses, by heading to PARAZETTEL.com/community and signing up. We've changed the pricing to be much cheaper now, and now you might find that you want to try the community out and see where things take you...
(There's a two week money-back guarantee, so you might as well get yourself inside and ready for the new course so that when we're live, you're saving every month on your subscription!) It’s something that I’ve been working really hard to prepare for you, so keep your eyes on your inbox in the coming few days for more details, including what's inside and how I'm going to deliver it! Other than this… A week in the mountainsI’ve been in the Dolomites for the last week, heading back to the UK yesterday evening (still writing this from my friend’s London apartment and planning to complete the trek home this evening once this is written). Every time I go, I’m reminded how beautiful Italy is, and this week was of course no different...
The reason for my stay was that I was talked into this ‘campus’ at the last minute by the same friend whose house I’m in right now, where a selection of English speakers are accommodated in a large hotel in the mountains, with some Italian students who are looking to improve their proficiency in the language. We have engineered conversations and activities together as part of the syllabus, but there was also a lot of time to get to know everyone outside of the activities and excursions organised for us. The Italians were from Bari, a city in the south, which I was already considering visiting and learning how life is there (to perhaps spend a winter in the area), and now that seems ever more likely to happen with the addition of new local friends. Either way, my note-taking continued like usual over this week, even though the workload was reduced. Most planning and outlining happened through Hermes, which meant that I could stay agile and on the move, connecting with mobile data through my phone rather than having to sit down at my laptop. The priority for this week of work was, of course, the PARAZETTEL Foundations course that I told you about earlier, which means that there hasn’t been enough time for new content and the like. But I think that this is good enough for the week, so I’ll sign off here and will be back in touch soon with more details about Foundations! Talk then, – Theo More from PARAZETTEL...
